The outdoor theatre “George Pappas” is situated on the grounds of the cultural centre of Aigio “Alekos Megaris” and owes its name to the internationally known bass singer “George Pappas”, who was from Aigialeia. It is able to host cultural events, concerts and theatrical performances, while it seats up to 1000 people.
The management of the outdoor theatre has been given to the Municipal Charity Firm of Aigialeia, the offices of which are housed in the grounds of the cultural centre.
Every summer the “George Pappas” Outdoor Theater hosts a variety of theatrical performances, concerts and events aimed at the general public of Aigialia.
The program of performances is organized and announced annually by the Municipal Charity Firm of Aigialeia.
