In Aigialeia one meets many citrus groves, which are unique for their freshness, the perfume and their juice. The area is mainly famous for the lemons and the oranges, which are used in the local recipes and are exported to European countries.
The main varieties of citrus fruits packaged and exported from the region are Magellini lemons and “Navel” and “Navelina” varieties of oranges.
