The vineyards of Aigialia are proud of its wines. The varieties cultivated are:
Lagorthi: The only Greek variety that can easily be compared to northern European wines. It is characterized by its mild aroma, lively acidity, low alcohol and crystalline personality.
Siderite: It comes from a grape with a pink bark and delicate character that only the soil-climatic conditions of Aigialia can protect. The Sideritis wines are bright yellow, with characteristic acidity with strong cool aromas, such as lemon, grapefruit, pear and sweet yellow fruit notes. Also note the good aftertaste.
Black Kalavritino: The promising red variety is mainly cultivated in the mountainous Aegialia and scattered throughout the Peloponnese. It gives fruity wines with a light taste of red and black fruits, flowers and spices. It also has a long aftertaste.
Along with the above varieties many foreign cultivars are also cultivated, such as: Sardonne, Gavirge, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Bionne. But also the red Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Sierra.
